This study focuses on the social and demographic impact of immigration on Francophone minority communities. It clarifies the challenges and success of the integration process by following the experiences of immigrants and Francophone minority communities. It also describes the strategies that communities need to adopt in order to become true host communities and fully benefit from the arrival of new members.
This study examines immigration trends of the past decades and their effect on Anglophone and Francophone communities. It focuses on provincial and federal policies and practices, as well as federal-provincial-territorial agreements on immigration. The study also discusses the issues faced by Francophone immigrants outside Quebec and by immigrants in Quebec.
